Impact Mentoring 5 Day Immersion Program

The National Impact Mentoring Academy will implement its “T.E.A.M. Approach” at one school 5 days each week. The “T.E.A.M. Approach” transitions troubled or at-risk students from early intervention to prevention to successful academic achievement. The “T.E.A.M. APPROACH” is a collaboration of efforts by the Teachers, Educators, Administrators and Mentors on each campus to provide early intervention that will lead the identified students to measurable prevention results. The Teachers, Educators and Administrators at each school site will select troubled or at-risk students who are in need of this early intervention support.

Impact Mentoring 5 Day Tri-mersion Program

The National Impact Mentoring Academy will implement its “Tri-mersion T.E.A.M. Approach” at one high school 5 days per week, one middle school feeder 5 days per week, and up to 4 elementary school feeders 3 hours per week. The Tri-mersion approach allows us to provide a seamless approach to the mentoring by engaging students as early as 5th grade and continue to work with them through 12th grade if necessary. We believe that this approach will reduce the number of middle and high school students with poor attendance, behavior and academic issues, and will significantly reduce dropout rates.

Impact Mentoring 5 Day Comprehensive Immersion Program

The National Impact Mentoring Academy will implement its “Comprehensive Immersion – T.E.A.M. Approach” at one high school 5 days per week, one middle school feeder 5 days per week, up to 4 elementary feeder schools 6-12 hours per week, and a 6 week summer school session for transitioning 6th and 8th grade students. The Comprehensive Immersion approach allows us to provide a seamless approach to the mentoring by engaging students as early as 5th grade and continue to work with them through 12th grade, if necessary. We believe that this approach will reduce the number of middle and high school students with poor attendance, behavior and academic issues, and will significantly reduce dropout rates.

Community Outreach

National Impact Mentoring and Training strongly believes that in order to succeed and best serve its students and families we have got to become a part of the communities DNA. Our connections and experience working in public and private schools’ systems for over 30 years throughout California allows us the ability to develop partnerships with all levels of education and school size.

Our community outreach strategy brings together all levels of education, local government, public safety, community-based organizations, non-profit and for-profit businesses to the table. We work with each entity individually and collectively to help them see the benefits of our outreach project and how it will make the community better.

Our experience with planning and implementing community forums, awareness events, and meetings also give us an advantage when it comes to meeting the community where they are.

Our team is diverse and bi-lingual, so we are not limited and can provide outreach to almost any community.

Afterschool Training Program

National Impact Mentoring and Training has developed an Early Pre-Construction afterschool program to start in Middle and High Schools in Fall of 2022.

This program is designed to reach minority and female students and introduce them to the world of construction and the other vast careers associated within industry. Selected students will participate in the following courses:

  • Pre-Employment Skills
  • Employee and “On the Job” Etiquette
  • Osha 10 Safety
  • General Pre-Construction Courses.

The primary program goal is to expose our students to careers in construction as well as many other industries. With the goal of wanting them to understand what it takes to get and stay employed, and to see the value in their education, and wanting them to continue their education after high school.

Our secondary goal is to identify and assist students interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry.

Our program design allows us to implement this program in any middle or high school regardless of size or structure (small, large, public or private).
